Horses and Wagons returns in 2025

Join the Royal Logistic Corps Horse-Drawn Heritage team for their annual First World War extravaganza featuring real history and real horses. War horses Ivor, Disco and Romeo, and their human owners, will be on hand to bring the story of horse supply and transport in the Great War to life.

With farrier displays, talks and demonstrations, uniform to try on and displays of equipment and weaponry, this is a not-to-missed day out for history buffs and families alike.

Entrance to the event and the museum is by donation, with a suggested donation of £5 per adult.
