There are many ways that you can support the museum to continue in our mission to tell the story of the Royal Logistic Corps.
Donate or leave a legacy
We are a free entry museum and donations help us to stay this way. You can make a monetary donation in person by cash or card, or online using the button at the top of this page.
We are also grateful for legacy donations from supporters who have chosen to remember us in their Will. If you are considering leaving us a legacy, you do not need to contact us in advance and you can update your Will at any time. Be sure to include whether your legacy donation is for a particular area of our work – public engagement or collection conservation, for example – or whether it is for the general good of the museum, at the discretion of the Director.
Shop
Every purchase from our shop – online or in person – helps to sustain the museum. Buying a gift, ordering a new tie or purchasing rank slides and berets all contribute to the ongoing wellbeing of the museum. Please note that November is our busiest ordering period – please leave ample time for delivery if buying for Remembrance events. Visit
The best support you can give us is to visit the museum. We are open five days a week to tell the story of the Royal Logistic Corps. Visiting us contributes to our overall visitor numbers that support all of the work we do from new displays to funding bids. Thank you for taking the time to visit. If you are unable to travel to us, please enjoy our virtual tour which allows you to explore the museum from anywhere in the world.
Volunteer
The museum relies on a small volunteer team to support every aspect of running the building. One of our most important jobs is staffing the front desk where volunteers welcome visitors and give them their first impression of our museum. This is an essential role.
Our volunteers also help with archives, objects, collection care and cataloguing. Get in touch to discuss what sort of volunteer role you are interested in, and how we can support each other.
